The academy is administered by Haverfordwest County FC & it attracts players from all over Pembrokeshire. The ethos of the academy is a player centred one and we take great care in providing a safe & learning environment.

The Academy has produced players that have represented Wales at U18 Welsh schoolboy and U23 level.
The objective of the Academy is to develop the skills of talented young footballers through quality coaching provided by UEFA licensed football coaches in accordance with UEFA guidelines and FAW policies and procedures. The coaching programme is a progressive one and we ensure that the highest possible coaching standards and modern practices are used
All Academy Head Coaches will either have attained or be working towards the UEFA "B" licence, some will be working towards the UEFA "A" licence. Asst coaches will have attained as a minimum the Football Leaders Award, First Aid certificate, FAW Goalkeepers certificate Child Welfare certificate. The coaching staff have to attend staff training days & F.A.W - UEFA coaching courses as part of their continuous development plan.
The Academy has three development centres currently situated in Tenby, Fishguard and Haverfordwest, the centres cater for players aged from U9 through to U11, these players are then assessed and invited to join the Academy U12 squad.
The Academy age group teams start at U12 - U13 - U14 - U15 - U16. Each squad has 18 outfield players plus 2 Goal Keepers. The Academy has a thriving Goalkeeping school. |
