The club is also proud to announce that Wayne Jones was successful in attaining his UEFA ‘B’ license on a recent 6 day course. The course consisted of both classroom lessons held in the Village Hotle in Cardiff and practical sessions held on Treforest playing fields. The UEFA B License is the first step on the ladder of UEFA coaching badges that culminate in the UEFA Pro license.
A club spokesman said, “All at the club are delighted for Wayne. It is a fine achievement. We are committed to fostering local talent at all levels whether it be players or coaches. Wayne is just the latest in a long line of coaches that we have supported in their progress up the UEFA ladder.”
Wolvesey joined the club as a coach last season under Derek Brazil after playing for County for several seasons before retiring in the 2009-10 season.
